The 32 participating countries and their respective seedings for the next World Cup Draw on April 29 were released by FIBA on Friday. The 32 teams were divided into eight groups of four based on their position in the most recent FIBA World Rankings. Some of the best players that you can look forward to at the FIBA 2023 World Cup are listed below.

Netanel Artzi

It’s possible that, in terms of raw strength, this 26-year-old wrecking ball is the most powerful man in the competition. The 6-foot athletic beast will be a crowd favorite and generate lots of commotion from the home crowd thanks to his devastating slams.

Artzi is a big-timer who has shown up in the past for his nation and in the pros. The World Cup is his ultimate goal, but before he gets there, he plans to win the tournament in Eilat.

Ning Zhang

Strong Asia China is home to a wealth of talented individuals, and this squad proves it by releasing adrenaline powerhouse Ning Zhang. The 26-year-old finally makes his 3×3 debut in Eilat, and the city is buzzing with excitement.

Zhang is a fan darling in the Chinese Basketball Association thanks to his limitless energy and impressive vertical leap. On the half-court, we expect big things from him and he’s certainly one of the many top players we can expect to make waves at many FIBA World Cup 2023 betting sites.

J.J Wilson

He helped Rwanda to a bronze medal at the FIBA 3×3 Africa Cup 2022, scoring a total of 38 points and earning a spot on the tournament’s All-Tournament Team. Don’t be fooled by his small stature.

The 24-year-old may just be 6 feet tall, but he is lethal from anywhere on the hardwood. This sniper opening should not be ignored.

Richard Rodger

In keeping with their small country’s renowned sports tradition, the Tall Blacks are ever competitive and regularly strike above their weight class.

They have high hopes of repeating that success in Eilat thanks to their formidable roster and the emergence of 26-year-old sharpshooter Richard Rodger.  During New Zealand’s run to a bronze medal at the recent FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup 2023, we caught glimpses of his potential.

If he and his colleague assassin Christopher McIntosh start to turn up the heat, the Tall Blacks might want to start making travel arrangements for Vienna.

Attila Demeter

This 26-year-old player has already been seen on the world stage at the FIBA 3×3 World Tour, but he can’t wait for the spotlight of the World Cup.

The only thing this 1.99-meter-tall athletic marvel enjoys more than scoring is driving to the basket and hammering a helpless defender. With his lengthy reach, he can be just as deadly defending the rim as Demeter.

Where to watch the FIBA World Cup 2023

It has previously been staged in the Philippines (1978) and Japan (2006), but this will be the very first time that a major World Cup event is conducted in Indonesia. This year’s tournament is unique in that for the first time ever, the hosting duties will be split between various countries, namely Japan, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Starting on August 25, 2023, and concluding in the Philippines on September 10, the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup will be played. The 32 participating nations have yet to find out when and where they will play, with the draw announcement scheduled for April 29.

So far, all we know is that the Philippines will host Pools A through D, Japan will host Pools E and F, and Indonesia will host Pools G and H. You can catch the FIBA World Cup in action at many Singapore FIBA World Cup betting sites including Solarbet.
